This is our first attempt at montage filming to delvelop and practise our skills using cut shots to build our montage film.

Montage filming is now used a lot in music videos and advert as it gets the message of what they are trying to show over to the audience a lot quicker and doesnt need to have a narrative to it. It allows advertisers to get a lot of information crammed in to something in a short amount of time.
For example the Army recruitment advert uses this technique to show all sides of joining the army with out using a narrative. It portrays being in the armys as a lifestyle not a job.
What have I learnt from this?
I have learnt that montage filming is an effective way of getting a story and meaning of something over with out making it long-winded this way makes it a lot more exciting to watch, especially when its targetting a younger audience such as myself.
